Give yourself grace

We tend to be our own worst critics. We say things to ourselves that we wouldn’t imagine saying to anyone else. We often believe that others are judging us when in reality, they didn’t even notice the thing we’re afraid of being judged for.

So this is your gentle reminder to cut yourself some slack. You’re doing the best you can, and that’s all anyone can ask of you.

The next time you notice that negative voice telling you what a terrible job you did, acknowledge it, gently set it side, and tell yourself “I’m doing my best, and I can learn from this.“
