The (often-overlooked) key to manifestation
I recently mentioned manifestation, but how does manifestation relate to habit change??
Everything is energy, including our thoughts, and our thoughts are incredibly important because we believe what we say to ourselves. We manifest what we choose to think about.
So if I have a habit I want to change, and I say or think to myself any number of things that don't support change, I am manifesting stagnation.
Some examples of thoughts that will manifest "stuckness":
❌ I can't because...
❌ I've tried everything and none of it works
❌ I'll be able to change after... [something that you have no control over]
❌ I'll make it a priority later
So how do you become a vibrational match for change? With thoughts like:
✅ I can do this because...
✅ I've learned a lot along this journey
✅ I can choose to change now, and I'll start with [something you can control]
✅ This is important to me now
Here's the important part, though...
You can't just think or say these things with the enthusiasm of Ben Stine doing roll call (or, for the younger crowd - the enthusiasm of checking your student loan balance).
You have to feel it. Like really feel it.
And sit with that feeling. Imagine it, believe it, embody it, be it. Feel into it as if it were already true.
And for those who feel really stuck –
What do you do when "I can change" feels so foreign, so far away, that you truly can't even imagine what it would feel like??
Start with the closest thought to success that you can believe and carve out time to sit with that feeling.
Soon, I'll share more about manifesting what we desire... or not. We're always manifesting things that are a match for our current vibration, but in relation to the version of ourselves that we aspire to be, this can be:
(1) Lower than what we aspire to be
(2) Neutral, "status quo"
(3) Approaching what we aspire to be
And I'll give you personal examples of each!
